Hotel Kuber Annex is located in the heart of Ghangaria (Govind Dham) in Uttarakhand, Dev Bhoomi – the Abode of Gods. Ghangaria is a small Indian hamlet in Northern Himalayas, nested on the hilltop at 3048 ft surrounded by thick forests and is a base camp for tourist visiting Hemkund Sahib & Valley of Flowers.
Kuber Annex is sister hotel of Hotel Kuber, 10 minutes away from Valley of Flower entrance. It is a  place you shall look forward to a Comfortable Stay and Dine. It is located a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautifully landscaped exterior and exotic interior surrounded by Snow Clad Mountains.

How to Reach

By Bus or taxi:

Bus & taxi are easily available from Joshimath, the cost of one-way trip is around 100 rs. & the distance is around 50 Km. Shared jeep/Sumo from Govindghat to Pulna.

By Air:

Helicopters are flown throughout the day between Govindgat & Ghangaria.

By trek or take Dandi, Kandy or Pony.

About Ghangaira:

Ghangaria (Govind Dham) is a small hamlet on the way to Hemkund Sahib, a popular pilgrimage site for Sikhs about 6 km from here and the Valley of Flowers, a national park known for its variety of flowers about 4 km from here. It is located in the northern Himalayan ranges at an altitude of 3049 meters in the Uttarakhand state of India. It is also known as Govinddham.

 

Ghangaria (Govind Dham) is situated on the bank of the river Lakshman Ganga. It is the last human habitation in this tiny valley. This place is usually used by travelers as a base camp to visit Hemkund and Valley of flowers. It is only open from May till September. The rest of the year the valley is covered under 8 feet of snow.

 

In Ganghria (Govind Dham) The Larger River Pushpawati flowing from Rataban and Nilgiri Ranges across the Valley of Flowers, meets the Lakshman Ganga from Hemkund Lake (the glaciers of Haathi Parvat and SaptShring peaks forms this lake), from here Onwards River is known as Lakshman Ganga.

Badrinath:

Temple where Lord Vishnu statue is located inside the Temple and also a pilgrimage site for Vaishnavites, Here one can take a Holy Bath in Tapt Kund. The first dham of Yatra of Chaar Dhaam the yarta begins from here following to rest three dhaams, Kedarnath, Gangotri & Yamnotri. Badrinath is situated at 10,000 Ft.

Last Indian Village - Mana

Last Indian Village “Mana” 2 km from Badrinath Dham, then comes Bhim Pul and then comes Vashudhara Falls. The famous trek of Satopanth Lake also begins from here, where you can have a panoramic view of Chaukhamba Peak.
